I really like this question because industrialization really did contribute to the power of Europe, but it will probably be a lot easier to focus on a few European countries rather than the whole continent. This will allow you to get more detailed information and focus on specific industrial developments. Also, I would pick a specific area of Africa like Sub-Saharan to narrow your research. A time period might be a good idea as well. Otherwise, this is a really interesting question and great work!
I agree with Rachel with the Sub- Saharan Africa country aspect and also you may want to talk to Mrs. Friday to make sure that this event counts as 2 regions of the world. Perhaps you could add in South Asia and discuss the British East India Company just to make sure you make the region requirements.
Good job. My only suggestions for improvement would be to narrow the time period and, as you develop your thesis, narrow your area of focus in Africa. As Davis mentioned, make sure that you identify the interaction between the two regions.
