I enjoy the question, but I am wondering which religions you are talking about that are conflicted. Maybe you could choose two religions that are extremely conflicting and specify the region in the Middle East and Europe where it was really bad.
Very important issue. You will need to further clarify your time period, religions, and countries/regions. Also, it will be helpful to focus on a single religion/religious conflict.
