This is a good question and I like that you have the time period and location. You could be more specific about which part of Africa you are including.
This appears to be a strong topic, but you may benefit from the incorporation of a more precise time period and the inclusion of specific genocides. Also, what regions are you referring to in North and South Africa? Does this include the Middle East?
I like where this is going, but you may want to specify which countries in these regions and which peoples are being affected by genocide.
