Historical Question (Re-posted)

How has religion influenced conflict within Europe and the Middle East throughout the twentieth century?

  1. This is a great question for analysis, Erich. I, too, am using religion as the basis of my question. For the Middle East, the Balfour Declaration could be a really interesting topic to discuss. For Europe, the Protestant Reformation is obviously a great point to make.

  2. I like this question, not only because my question is also founded on religion and its effects, but because of the format of the question itself. Although it is somewhat broad, it targets a specific area during a specific time. Very well done.

  3. I really like this question but maybe you could elaborate on some examples of the religions you are talking about. Otherwise, this is a great question that is just general enough to intrigue the reader and elaborate on with extensive research.

  4. I think this is a great question, and the time period should be perfect for the religious influences in Europe and the Middle East. The only suggestion I have is to be more specific about the types of religions.
